Kathryn

  • Kathryn Johnson is a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist, who has vast clinical experience working across different clinical environments, NHS and Private, delivering evidence-informed upper limb rehabilitation within the clinical speciality of upper limb/hand therapy. 
  • Kathryn has 25 years of clinical expertise working with upper limb conditions, peripheral nerve, and brachial plexus injuries (traumatic and birth-related), with both adults and children across all ages.
  • A co-author of a book chapter, on the ‘Rehabilitation of Nerve Injuries’, and several other research publications.
  • Provides a client centred approach to the assessment and treatment of a wide range of upper limb/hand conditions and injuries, utilising a range of treatment modalities, i.e., scar management, splinting, exercise prescription, as clinically indicated.
  • Kathryn is HCPC registered and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and British Association of Hand Therapists. 
  • Kathryn has recently completed an MSc in Hand Therapy
