Kim has an extensive knowledge and experience of Occupational Therapy, having studied abroad and worked in Israel, South Africa and recently the United Kingdom.
Kim is a passionate and dedicated Therapist and has successfully run her own Private Practice in South Africa over the last 15 years with a special interest in Neurology and Geriatrics.
Kim shows quality and commitment in her work; she has supervised and mentored junior therapists, and OT students, she has attended international courses and conferences, and has given lectures and in service training for various organisations about Dementia care, Memory, Well being in the Elderly population and falls prevention.
Presently, Kim works with the Care of the Elderly team in the acute setting at Watford Hospital and has started with Miriam May Occupational Therapy in January 2024 to further broaden her knowledge and skills in the UK private sector.
Kim is able to offer home visits, treating the individual and his/her families with a holistic and client centred approach to enable the individual to live life to the fullest.
Kim is Bobath trained, and is registered with HPCUK and is a member of RCOT.
