Liz Gwynne is skilled occupational therapist who has specialised in hand therapy since 2012, treating adults and children with acute or chronic conditions.
Liz began her career in the NHS before moving into the private sector gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings including trauma and orthopaedics, rheumatology and plastic surgery.
Liz has a clinical interest in upper limb pain disorders and uses her degree in psychology to help individuals cope with the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that accompany pain.
Liz provides holistic assessment and rehabilitation, utilising a range of therapeutic modalities including: Bespoke thermoplastic and neoprene splinting, Exercise prescription, Pain management, Oedema and scar management, Activity modification & ergonomic advice, Manual skills and Kinesio-taping.
Liz is HCPC registered and a member of the British Association of Hand Therapists.
